It all began with a few tacos and a popup tent outside a brewery in 2019. Over time the brand gained following and organically grew into itself as larger opportunities presented themselves. Previously located in Hatch Local Food Hall, Sincero has since made home in our first brick and mortar - 404 N 2nd St. The space previously home to cozy Jackson Ward spot, Lucy’s.

The restaurant offers a mix of Mexican-American small plates, sandwiches, and tacos influenced by Alex’s childhood and decade long run in kitchens from DC, Baltimore, and now Richmond. The menu is balanced with simple and delicious staples, seasonal dishes, and new specials every week. It’s complimented by Karen’s curated drink menu of elevated cocktails and silly riffs on classics, house made horchata, and crispy cold beers.

The space we’ve created is meant to be warm and inviting. Meant for a night out with friends or that special someone, maybe a solo seat at the bar where you stay for a while. We’ve aimed to make this space welcoming with a little something for everyone. We cant wait for you to dine with us.
